This is a good old fashioned bucket hat made with high quality wool, woven from sheep wool grown in Wyoming and woven in Connecticut. Off cuts rescued from a cut and sew factory of rugged outdoor clothing in Northern Vermont, collaged together to form a one of a kind hat for your head. Inspired by the Victorian tradition of crazy quilts from the 1800’s. These scraps are too good to end up in the waste stream, destined for a land fill. The lining is 100% cotton flannel and very soft. By purchasing this hat, you are supporting a Vermont based artist.
This hat will fit up to a size 62 head, also known as a XL. Using a tape measure, that means a 24 1/4” noggin. Can be worn with the brim flipped up or down.
